भारत सरकार GOVERNMENT OF INDIA रेल मंत्रालय MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (tat बोर्ड RAILWAY BOARD) No. TC-II/2910/2021/Vande Bharat New Delhi, dated 01.03. 2021 The Principal Chief Commercial Manager, Northern Railway, New Delhi Sub: Clarification on charging of fare if Shatabdi Rake is utilised for running of Vande Bharat Express Ref: CCM/PM’s NR letter no. 22435/2236/RTA/Quota/2019 dated 02.2021. In reference to above letter it is advised to take action as per the following Item wise clarifications:- Clarification Item Content of clarification no. (i) Whether the fare structure as applicable for Shatabdi Express would be levied and refund of difference of fare would be granted to passengers who have already booked their tickets? Since Shatabdi Rake shall be utilised for running of Vande Bharat Express in case of any breakdown/unusual/late running during SS-1 schedule of T-18, therefore as a special case, class wise normal basic Fare for Shatabdi trains shall be utilised for charging of fare and grant of class wise difference of fare from Vande Bharat Fare to Shatabdi fare. Refund of difference of fare would be granted to passengers who have already booked their tickets including any difference in any other applicable charges, refund of the difference of same shall also be granted. eo *.. (ii). Whether flexi fare would be applicable for such trips with Shatabdi Rakes? (iii). Whether the name of train during such trips shall continue to be Vande Bharat or otherwise?
