Sub: Revised Standard Operating Protocol (SOP) for movement of

passengers by rail.

Ref: SOP dated 05.05.2021 and modifications made in SOP through other instructions issued from time to time.

In view of various changes already made from time to time in the existing SOP,and as per instruction issued by Ministry of Home Affairs dated 22.03.2022, it has been decided to issue updated SOP. Accordingly in supersession of the existing SOP dated 05.05.2021, the revised SOP/Protocol is issued in accordance with the revised order of Ministry of Home Affairs dated 22.03.2022. The the following SOP/Guidelines shall be ensured for movement of passengers by rail.

(i). It shall be advised, to all passengers that they shou'd be wearing face covers/masks at the entry/ exit and during travel.

(ii). All passengers to be advised that on arrival at their destination, the travelling passenger shall follow the Covid protocol/guidelines issued by Ministry of Home affairs, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and concerned State/UTs on the subject from time to time.
