Sub: Modification in instructions for 15 pairs of special trains running with

effect from 12.05.2020.

(a) This office letters of even no. dated 11.05.2020 & 13.05.2020.

(b) Coaching Directorate’s Message no. DT P/2020/05/025 dated

11.05.2020.

1. Fifteen pairs of special Trains are being run as per Coaching Directorates message dated 11.05.2020 referred at (b) above. Terms and conditions were advised vide this office letters of even number dated 11.05.2020 & 13.05.2020 referred at (a) above.

It has now been decided to revise certain terms and conditions of the 15 pairs of special trains as under :

The Advance Reservation Period (ARP) of these trains will be increased from 7 days to 30 days.

ii. All the reservation quotas as earmarked in normal Rajdhani trains will be

defined except Tatkal quota.

. RAC/Waiting list tickets will be issued in these trains as per extant

instructions applicable. However waitlisted passengers will not be allowed to board as per extant instructions.

iv. Current booking shall be permitted. First reservation chart shall be prepared

at least 4 hours before scheduled departure of the trains and second chart shall be prepared 2 hours before scheduled departure instead of existing practice of 30 minutes before departure.

. Booking of tickets shall be permissible through computerised PRS counters

including Post Offices, Yatri Ticket Suvidha Kendra (Y TSK) licensees etc.,as well as through on-line booking including authorized agents of Indian

Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) and Common Service Centres.

2. The above shall be implemented with effect from train booking date 24 May 2020 and for train starting date of 31° May 2020 onwards.

3. Necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned so as to make these details available to all the concerned staff well in advance.

4. The receipt of this letter may be acknowledged. These instructions can also be viewed on the Indian Railways website-www.indianrailways.gov.in under the head commercial circulars in Traffic Commercial Directorate.
