Delhi, dt 44.04.2022 (3344593) The Principal Chief Commercial Manager Northeast Frontier Railway Guwahati Sub: Clarification regarding NUP-DACT Indo-Bangla Train. Ref: NFR’s letter no. C/378/NJP-Dhaka_ Cantt Indo-Bangla Train dated 21.03.2022. In reference to above, NFR has sought certain clarifications for the NJP-DACT train. Item wise remarks are tabulated under: Item no. & description 1. No of seats to be provided for Chilahati station from NJP end in AC chair car both for onward and return journey. What will be utilization of seats vacated at Chilahati? Whether same will be allowed to travel by the domestic passengers of Bangladesh between Dhaka and Chilahati over BR territory. 2. No of berth to be provided to Bangladesh Railway from NJP-DACT in AC 1st class is not specified. 3. Rake composition, orientation of seats/coach layout of the rake to be in Operation from both India and Bangladesh end. 4. Telephone/mobile number and e-mail id of concern liasioning officer of BR. 1. Earmarking of reservation quota may be done by Zonal railway as is done for |. other trains. Accordingly, Zonal Railway can earmark quota and_ review it periodically based on_ utilization for necessary adjustments in consultation and proper intimation to Bangladesh Railway. 2. Same as reply of 1 above. 3. Composition is - 4 1st AC coaches & 4 Chair Cars. One rake will be provided by IR. 4.
