vide Board's letter No.TC-I/2018/201l1

In this regard,
Board's
guidelines
stipulates
- "As an introductory
incentive for
the
consignor/consignee
to release the rake during extended night hours beyond 22:00 Hours, only
50% of the time taken between 22:00 Hours to 06:00 Hours or the time upto which working
hours have been extended should be reckonedfor
calculation
of free time for loading, unloading
or removable of consignment on the Railway premises"
As there was some typographical
error in the above-mentioned
illustration, the same was
rectified vide Board's letter No.TC-I/2018/201/1
dt.l2.03.2018
duly keeping in view the spirit of
Board's policy.
The rule says 50% incentive is given for calculation of free time. In the above-mentioned
illustration,
2hours remaining
free time has been given incentive
as notional
4hours i.e. upto
02:00 Hours and in case the rake is detained beyond 02:00 Hours, then the period from 02:00 to
06:00 i.e. 4 hours is treated as excess detention without any.incentive,
