Instances have been brought to the notice of Board that 'normal Demurrage' and 'Penal Demurrage' amount are not being shown separately in waiver cases. The competent authority might prefer to deal with such cases separately.
CRIS/FOIS has informed that showing 'normal Demurrage' and 'penal Demurrage' amount separately in every cases of waiver has been implemented from 28.08.2023. In each RR, a flag of rate type (Normal/Penal) is shared with IREPS. Thus, competent authority may consider waiver separately for normal and penal demurrage cases. However, it is not clear whether, this provision has been implemented for all waiver cases which has not yet been finalized.
CRIS/FOIS is requested that aforesaid functionality may be implemented for all cases of waiver which are under consideration of competent authority.
