(ii) Board(AM/T)'s letter of even number dated 04.01.2023 Please refer to Board's letters under reference regarding expeditious recovery of Demurrage/Wharfage and disposal of waiver cases.

In this regard, extant guidelines prescribed are reproduced below- Wharfage - "Pre-payment of Wharfage will be ensured before delivery of the consignment".

Demurrage - "Recovery should be ensured within ten days from issuance of Railway Receipt in case of Goods Sheds, PFTs etc. and within 10 111 day of following month in case of sidings".

CRIS/FOIS report for zone-wise outstanding details is enclosed herewith.

Zonal Railways may make concerted efforts for clearance of outstanding.

Further, all concerned may be directed to scrupulously follow the extant guidelines regarding recovery of Wharfage/Demurrage charge.

This should be monitored at Apex level at Divisions and Zonal Railway.
