CAO/Systems (FOIS) Sub: Capturing of indents and generation of Railway Receipt through the system in case of Military Traffic oo Ref: (i) Board’s letter of even number dt.07.02.2025 (ii) FOIS letter No.CAO/FOIS/Military Freight System/24 dt.08.08.2025 Please refer to FOIS’ letter under reference (ii), vide which FOIS has furnished its response on the issues raised by Defence Authority on the above-mentioned subject. The matter has been examined in consultation with Traffic Transportation and Accounts directorates of Railway Board, and following has been decided: GST Number: In case of Military Traffic, for customer’s pre-registration in e-RD module, field of GSTIN number will not be mandatory. However, authorized Defence Personnel will upload an undertaking declaring about non- availability of GST number. The supply is to be treated as a supply to unregistered entity and accordingly reported in GSTR-1 of IR. PAN & Aadhar Card details: In case of Military Traffic, for customer's pre-registration in e-RD module, the authorized Defence Personnel will upload an authorization letter duly mentioning the details viz.Name, Designation and Govt. ID. Separate User ID: . ः ः . FOIS will provide single user ID to authorized Defence Personnel of the office of Additional Directorate ~ General (Strategic Movement), to facilitate registration of demand through e-RD module. Modification in demand under e-RD: . Provision may be made in the system for modification in the demand before preparation of RR, under special circumstances with due approval of competent Defence Authority. Security of Move: . कि Requisite safety protocols, as observed during Operation SINDOOR for the safety of movement of Military Traffic, should be observed at all times.
