Sub: Unloading of Wagons

Board has emphasized about the importance of ensuring that wagons are unloaded completely at the unloading points (including at tipplers). A system needs to be evolved for certifying that wagons have been properly and fully unloaded. In view of the above, following has been decided -

"In case of unloading of wagons/rake, the concerned freight customer (consignee/endorsee or its handling agent) should ensure and submit a written undertaking certifying that all wagons are unloaded completely. After receipt of such certification, the wagons/rake will be released in the system. Surprise inspection to be carried out from time to time. “

All concerned may be advised accordingly.
