Sub: Methodology for levying Stabling Charge

Please refer to NR’s letter No.49-T/59/Policy/TGS dt.22.09.2022 wherein Railway has proposed for modifying the methodology for levying of Stabling Charge from "575 per wagon per day or part of a day" to "575 per wagon per twenty four hours or part thereof".

The matter has been examined in consultation with Traffic Transportation and Finance directorates of Railway Board and it has been decided that extant guidelines holds good and no change is envisaged at present.
