Chief Commercial Manager All Zonal Railways Sub: Demurrage and Wharfage- Power to enhance free time for Alternate Goods Sheds Ref: Rates Master Circular/Demurrage-Wharfage-Waiver/2016/0 and its Corrigendum No.16 & Corrigendum No.23 In terms of Corrigendum No.16 to Rates Master Circular/Demurrage-Wharfage- Waiver/2016/0 dt.11.01.2021, to improve the utilization of Alternate Goods Sheds, Zonal Railways(PCCM in consultation with PCOM) is empowered to increase the free time for loading/unloading of wagons and/or free time for removal of consignment, upto 50% of the normal free time. These guidelines are valid upto 10.01 2023 as per Corrigendum No.23 under reference. The matter has been reviewed and it has been decided not to extend the above- mentioned guidelines beyond 10.01.2023.
