Chief Commercial Manager All Zonal Railways Sub: System(TMS/FOIS) based classification of Railway Premises(Goods Sheds, Station etc.) Ref: (i) Board’s letter No. TC-I/2019/201/6-Part(3)(3329131) dt.28.08.2023 (ii)Board’s letter No. TC-I/2020/302/1(33142909)(A) dt.26.02.2024 References have been received from some of the zonal railways highlighting certain issues regarding review of classification of Railway Premises (Goods Sheds, Station etc.) by system (TMS/FOIS). CRIS/FOIS has informed that the system has been designed for classification of Railway Premises as per extant guidelines prescribed vide Board’s letters under reference (i) & (ii). Further, Zonal Railways are advised that in case of any issue regarding classification of specific goods shed, the figures may be reconciled with FOIS, with inclusion of RMC rakes.
