However, in case Hopper wagons are handled on hopper system, then free time as prescribed for Hopper wagons will be applicable. These guidelines are valid upto 31.12.2023. The matter has been examined and it has been decided to extend the validity of aforesaid guidelines beyond 31.12.2023 till 31.12.2024. Zonal Railways may conduct time & motion study and furnish their report/recommendation after six months.
