(ii) Board’s letter No.TC-1/2016/103/1 dt.20.04.2017 (Addendum to Rates Master Circular/CRT-CCR-Hub&Spoke/2015/0)

Representation has been received from one of the container train operators(CTOs) mentioning about problem being faced regarding issue of multiple Railway Receipts(RRs) in case of container train as commercial staff over WR has interpreted that additional para 3.7 inserted vide Board's letter under reference(ii) is applicable only under Hub&Spoke and not on through run trains.

It is advised that vide Board's letter under reference(ii), an additional para 3.7 has been inserted for the purpose of liability for payment of Terminal Access Charge, Detention Charge and Ground Usage Charge in the case of issuance of multiple Railway Receipts(RRs) in the name of more than one container operator for a single container train, for which guidelines are prescribed in Chapter-I of Rates Master Circular/CRT-CCR-Hub&Spoke/2015/0.

The issue may be resolved accordingly.
