It has come to notice that there are instances of pending dues beyond prescribed time-limit on account of “Paid E-RRs against LC/BG in case of insufficient fund message from bank’.

Zonal Railways are advised that all cases of ‘Paid E-RRs against LC/BG in case of insufficient fund message from bank’ should be monitored at the apex level for expeditious recovery of dues and its timely updation in the system. If need arise, suitable action may also be initiated for realization of dues by encashing LC/BG bond as per Board’s letter under reference.
