The matter has been examined in consultation with Traffic Transportation directorate of Railway Board who has advised that mentioning 'expected date of loading' at the time of indent is in tradition for POL traffic. Expected date of loading is only indicative. It helps in better planning of rakes. The conventional system of mentioning expecting date of loading at the time indenting in case of POL traffic may be continued with.
