CCM (FM)/NCR's letter No.2020/CRF/Misc/Correspondence dt.22.09.2023 regarding refund of Wagon Registration Fee which was inadvertently forfeited. The matter has been examined in consultation with Finance Dte. It is to state that the matter should have been dealt at Zonal Railway level itself as per extant guidelines as contained in MSOP of commercial matters. Further, reference is invited to Board's letter No.2011/0&M/3/6 dt.04/04/2011 which stipulates that correspondence with Railway Board should have approval of GM/PHOD and an endorsement to this effect be made in the Jetter and, all letters ( except routine nature and reminders) addressed to Board should be signed by an officer not below the rank of SAG.
