Sub: Punitive Charges for overloading levied on FCI rakes Ref: (1) WR’s letter No.C611/3 Vol. VIH-FCI dt.16.08.2017

(ii) Rates Master Circular/Weighment/20 14/0

Please refer to WR’s letter under reference on the above mentioned subject wherein it is mentioned that FCI is not clearing outstanding dues of 2015-16 and 2016-17 on the plea that the decision of Fact Finding Committee(FFC) is pending.

In this regard, it is to state that the issue before the consideration of FFC was pertaining for the period upto 2014-15, for which it had given its recommendations and the same has been accepted by Secretary, D/oF&PD and Chairman, Railway Board. Zonal Railways have also been advised to take action accordingly vide Board’s letter No. TC-I/2011/109/11Pt.3 dated

30.03.2017.

Presently, no action on the part of FFC is pending.

The cases beyond 2014-15 should be dealt as per extant guidelines.
