' t Rates Circular No.14 of 2024 3fRo -EHchF< GOVERNMENT OF INDIA t<-rA-:iilt'l4 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (~ iftt RAIL WAY BOARD) No.TC-I/2002/214/5 Pt.A(3318949) New Delhi, dt.04.06.2024 General Manager All Zonal Railways Sub: All India Engine Hour Cost(AIEHC) for recovery of Siding and Shunting Charges Ref: Rates Circular No.09 of 2023 Ministry of Railways have decided to revise the All India Engine Hour Cost (AIEHC) for recovery of Siding and Shunting Charges, w.e.f.10.07.2024, as under-
2.0 Revised Rates Type of Cost per hour locomotive/engine Broad Gau2:e(BG) Meter Gauge(MG) Diesel locomotive Shunting Engine ~10620 <10340 Train Engine <17380 <14770 Electric locomotive Train Engine {15440

3.0 Costs to be recovered for steam locos wherever in use over Indian Railways shall be identical to that of Diesel Engines indicated above.
4.0 These revised costs will remain in force until further orders.
5.0 Rounding off of shunting period would continue to be done as per instructions laid down in Para 3 .6 of Board's letter No. TC-I/2008/214/1 dated 06.02.2009(Rates Circular No.14 of 2009, and as amended from time to time).
6.0 Action may please be taken to give due notice to the siding owners before introduction of revised Siding and Shunting Charges.
7.0 The afore-mentioned instructions will also be applicable for Indo-Nepal Traffic.
