- Ministry of Railways have decided to revise the A11 India Engine Hour Cost (AIEHC) forrecovery of Siding Charge and Shunting Charge, w.e.f.Ol.0g.2o26,as under-

2.0 Revised Rates Type of locomotive/engine Cost hour Broad Gauge(BG) Meter Diesel locomotive Shunting Engine {10620 Not existing Train <17740 <14770 Electric locomotive Train Engine il5440

3.0 Costs to be recovered for steam locos wherever in use over Indian Railways shail be identical to that of Diesel Engines indicated above.

4.0 These revised costs will remain in force until further orders.

5.0 Rounding off of shunting period would continue to be done as per instructions laid down in Para 3.6 of Board's letterNo.TC-I/20O8l2l4ll dated 06.02.200g(iates Circular No.l4 of 2009, and as amendedfrom ttme to time).

6.0 Action may please be taken to give due notice to the siding owners before introduction of revised Siding Charge and Shunting Charge.

7.0 The afore-mentioned instructions will also be applicable for Indo-Nepal Traffic.
