Sub: Training to the staff who carry out the task of lashing & securing arrangement in
case of steel consignment

It has come to the notice of Board about an incidence of derailment of wagons loaded with
HR coil over Western Railway.

The matter has been examined and it has been decided that Zonal Railways should ensure
specialized work related training of the staff who carry out or generally assigned with the
responsibility of supervision of lashing and securing arrangements of steel consignments for
one/two days at customer premises before posting at the terminal.
