Sub: Waiver of Demurrage/Wharfage Ref:Corrigendum No.58 of Rates Master Circular/Demurrage- Wharfage- Waiver/2016/0 Please refer to SR’s letter No.C.510/RO/Misc/TNPG/2024-25 dt.22.01.2025 wherein: interalia mentioning about a case where a customer could not apply for waiver of Demurrage through online mode within the prescribed time period due to'non enablement of Consignee Code in the System (FOIS), Railway has requested for considering the submission of physical -application of waiver as a one time measure. The matter has been examined. Competent authority has decided to grant one time exemption for accepting the physical application of waiver and its processing as per extant . guidelines in the instant case.
