Sub: Guidelines regarding Advance Stacking at Railway premises 
Ref: Para 7.0 to Chapter-II of Rates Master Circular/Demurrage-Wharfage-Waiver/2016/0 
Vigilance Directorate of Railway Board has reported an instance regarding misuse of 
advance stacking permission. 
In this regard the extant guidelines stipulated vide Para 7.0 to Chapter-II of Rates 
Master Circular/Demurrage-Wharfage-Waiver/2016/0 is reiterated- 
"7.8 Once advance stacking permission has been granted, cancellation of 
indents will 
not be permissible upto fifteen days from the F
1 day of 
advance stacking. In case 
Rail User cancels the indent within the aforesaid period, Stacking Charge will be 
levied for the whole period of 
stacking. "
