Sub: Container Class Rate(CCR) and Hub & Spoke System of charging Ref: Board’s letter No.2007/TC-1/302/1 Pt. H dt. 10.4.2017 (Corrigendum 10 to Rates Master Circular/CRT-CCR-Hub & Spoke/2015/0)

Reference has been received from CONCOR stating that at field level guidelines issued vide Board’s letter under reference are being interpreted in such a way that a container rake of 90 TEUs loaded with two notified commodities-50 containers of one type notified commodity and 40 containers of other type of notified commodity. then Haulage Charge ts leviable @ Container Class Rate(CCR). instead of. Haulage Rate per TEU.

As per Board's letter under reference, if 50 or less than 50 containers(TEUs) in a rake are loaded with any of the notified commodity groups either as a single commodity or mixed with other commodity(including other than notified commodity), Haulage Charge for such container will be levied as per prevailing Haulage Rate per TEU.
