Sub: Registration of demand for wagons electronically through web(e-RD).

Ref. (i) Board’s letter No.TC-1/2014/104/2 dt. 26.12.2014

(ii) Board(MT)’s D.O. letter No. TC-1/2014/104/2 dt.19.02.2015

Please refer to your letter No.CMP/Rly.Board/2014 dated 21.04.2015 wherein interalia referring to Board(MT)’s D.O. under reference, it has been requested for continuance of manual sanction for the programmes for defence, paramilitary forces, state police forces, loco(Railways) and foreign entities.

It is to state that the Board(MT)’s D.O. letter under reference(ii) is generic in nature and stresses upon the need for shifting to e-RD. Defence, Paramilitary Forces, State Police Forces, loco(Railways) and foreign entities have been specifically exempted from e-RD module vide Board’s letter under reference(i) and the same may be continued with manual sanctioning till further orders.
