New Delhi, dated 03-01-2011 Chief Commercial Manager All Zonal Railways Sub: Discontinuing manual RRs; only TMS RRs to be issued, मम मे दे Board have decided that TMS will be commissioned at ali the field locations by 28.02.2011. On those locations where TMS has not been commissioned or has not been planned, the concept of Nodal Station, described in detail in Para 2.3 of Rates Circular No.2 of 2005, will have to be invoked. Therefore, manual RRs will be discontinued all over Indian Railways w.e.f.01.03.2011. All the Zonal Railways are, therefore requested to identify all such locations where TMS is not going to be commissioned, identifying a Nodal Station from which such non-device locations will be covered for the purpose of issue of computerized RRs etc. The detailed plan of such non-TMS locations together with NODAL station under which they will be covered should be furnished to CAO/FOIS by 15.01.2011 positively.
