No. TC-1/2007/103/1 New Delhi of -01-2010

Sub: Common TMS RR for Goods and Container Taffic.

Please refer to FOIS’s letter No. CAO/FOIS/104/RD/ Pt.I1/2008 dated

23.12.08 on the above mentioned subject where in FOIS has proposed for a new common format of TMS RR for both goods and containers traffic.

The proposed format of TMS RR has been examined and it has been decided that ali details of goods as well as container traffic will be fed in the TMS but RR (both for general goods and container) will be issued in the existing format of TMS RR. Other details of container will be available in the system and can be printed by the users as per enclosed format.

FOIS is requested to take necessary action to prepare the prescribed format of container details.

This issues with the approval of Accounts and Finance Directorates of the Ministry of Railways.
