Sub: Request for amendment of Para 4.7 of CRT Master Circular- reg.
Ref: (i) Rates Master Circular/CRT-CCR-Hub&Spoke/2015/0 dt.07.04.2015
(ii) SR’s letter No.C.496/Container Trains/Vol.V (Pt) dt.23.11.2015.
Please refer to SR’s letter under reference (ii) wherein inter alia citing a case of Melpakkam goods shed, Railway has suggested to amend the Para 4.7 of Rates Master Circular under reference (i) to the effect that for the purpose of giving permission as CRT, instead of excluding only container trains, all (non-conventional) privately owned irains such as container trains, trains under AFTO, SFTO should also be excluded.
The matter has been examined. At this stage, no amendment in Rates Master
Circular under reference (1) is required.
