Sub: Registration of demand for wagons electronically (e-RD ) through FOIS web portal Ref: Para 5.2 of Rates Master Circular/e-RD/2014/0

Please refer to Para 5.0 of Rates Master Circular/e-RD/2014/0 regarding registration of customer for availing e-RD facility which prescribes furnishing of PAN Card details of the customer.

Zonal Railways have informed that they are facing problems on the above account as some of the customers are not willing to share PAN card details. Instead. they wish to share Aadhar Card details for registration under e-RD module.

The matter has been examined and it has been decided to allow Aadhar Card also in liew of PAN card under e-RD module. Accordingly, the extant and revised

instructions of second bullet point of Para 5.2 of the Circular under reference are given below:
