ORDER

Ministry of Railways (Rallway Board) have decided to constitute a Committee to examine issues
relating to Supervisory Categories.

1.1. The Committee will consist of the following:-

i, EDPC,RallwayBoard teens Convener
li, EDE(GC), Railway Board . Member
lil, EDE(N), Railway Board Member
iv. EDCE(G), Railway Board Member

v. EDF(E), Rallway Board . Member

2. The Terms of Reference of the Committee would be as under: -

a. To study the issue of stagnation at L-7 and to suggest modalities to improve promotion
prospects for all Supervisory category.

b. To study implications and suggest modalities for allotting Group B status to Supervisors
upgraded to Level-8 vide RBE 155/2022.

c. To study implications and suggest modalities for aligning the classification policy of Ministry
of Railways with DOP&T.

3. The Committee shall submit its report within six (6) weeks from the date of constitution. The
committee should take the views of the stakeholders for its consideration before finalizing its
recommendations.

4. The Headquarters of the Committee will be at New Delhi.

5. PC-VIl Branch, Railway Board will be the Nodal Branch for functioning of the Committee.
Therefore, submission of report of the Committee for consideration of Railway Board, implementation
of its recommendations and all related issues including Parliament Questions, RTI cases and other
formalities with regard to the Committee, shall be dealt with by PC-VII Branch, Railway Board. The
Nodal Branch will also make sure to email a soft copy of the Committee’s report to the ERB-I Branch at
committee. mor@rb.railnet.gov.in.

6. The Convener and Members of the Committee will draw TA/DA as per extant rules.
