GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (RAILWAY BOARD) No. ERB-1/2000/11/2 New Delhi, dated 5 -03-2002 RESOLUTION In the present norms for selection for the posts of Additional Members, Railway Board, in Scale Rs. 24050-26000, circulated vide Railway Board's Resolution of even number dt. 11-10-2000, one of the norms is that the officer should have fitness for appointment as Additional Member and also for General Manager equivalent post (General Manager Open Line post in case of certain identified posts of Additional Members and Secretary, Railway Board) in his last ACR. Government of India have decided to amend this norm for selection for the posts of Additional Members, Railway Board. Accordingly, the provisions contained in Resolution of even number dated 11-10- 2000 is amended as indicated in the Annexure, with immediate effect. ORDER : Ordered that a copy of the Resolution be circulated among the members of various Group’A' Railway Services. Ordered also that the Resolution be published in the Gazette of India for general information. ( To be published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary, Part-I, Section-I) ANNEXURE NORMS FOR APPOINTMENT TO THE POSTS OF ADDITIONAL MEMBERS, RAILWAY BOARD In para 1 Item No. (iii), (iv) and (v) of the Resolution No. ERB-I/2000/11/2 dated 11-10-2000 in place of the words " last ACR" or "last Confidential Report", wherever they appear, the following words should be substituted :- " 2 ACRs at least, during the last 5 years, including one out of the latest two ACRs".
