The employees concerned before being allowed to appear in the Viva-Voce test are required to
undergo the prescribed standard of Medical Examination in terms of para 530(b) of IRMM-
Volume-I, Third Edition, 2000. The authority conducting the medical examination should clearly
certify whether the employee concerned is FIT for Group ‘B’ Gazetted post of APO in terms of
para 530 (b) of IRMM- Volume-I, Third Edition, 2000 or otherwise. Only, if the employee is
declared medically ‘FIT’ in the medical examination under prescribed standard, he may be directed
to this office to appear in the Viva-Voce.
The following documents of the above named employees may be sent to APO (Gaz.) -
HQ/NWR/JP per bearer on or before 18.07.2025 by 11.00 hours alongwith summary in attached
Proforma ‘A’:-
i. The medical ‘FIT” certificate in original counter signed by MD/CMS alongwith one photocopy,
duly attested.
iii D&AR/Vig. Clearance indicating whether the employee is undergoing punishment in
D&AR/Vig. Case affecting his such promotion or otherwise duly certified by the Personnel
Officer.
iii. Service Record duly completed in all respects certificate wherever applicable.
iv. Original APARs of the above employees for the year ending from 2019-20 to 2023-24 along
with overall grading with attributes in separate sheet (enclosed as Proforma ‘A’) duly
signed by concerned officer, as per guidelines given in Railway Board’s letter No.
E(GP)2000/2/95, dated 16.01.2001. In case, any of APAR(s) is not written or not available, a
certificate to this effect, alongwith the APAR(s) for the preceding year.
The date of Viva-Voce of the above employees will be advised in due course. The employees
may be advised to be in readiness for Viva-Voce at short notice.
