Sub: Relaxation in time limit for submission of original folder/Receipts to CCM office for Refund of security deposit for FTR trains/coaches/Saloons etc.

Ref: ECOR letter no. Dyccm/Claims/BBS/Coaching Tariff/SD/03/19 dated

19.03.2019.

In reference to above letter it has been decided to delegate the power to Principal Chief Commercial Managers of Zonal Railways for condonation of delay in submission of original Folder/Receipts for refund of security deposit of FTR special trains/Coaches/Saloons etc beyond 30 days and maximum upto six months from the date of completion of journey on case to case basis for allowing full refund of security deposit deposited with IRCTC. For any dueson account of excess detention, fare etc shall be raised against IRCTC.

The above power is hereby delegaied upto the date of implementation of the second phase of online booking of FTR trains/Coaches/Saloons through single window booking system by IRCTC. Such power is applicable only for online booking cases through IRCTC.

All such cases in which original folder/receipts has been submitted late beyond 30 days but within six months of the completion of journey after implementation of online booking of FTR trains/coaches/saloons through single window booking system by IRCTC may be reviewed and decision may be taken on case to case basis.

This issues in concurrence of Finance (Commercial) Directorate of Ministry of

Railways.
