GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (RAILWAY BOARD) No 2025/F(X)II/PW/6 New Delhi, Dated 16.06.2025 General Managers, All Indian Railways. Sub: Delegations of Powers for sanction of itemized works under PH-41 (M&Ps). Ref: i) Railway Board’s Letter No.2024/F(X)II/10/6-Part(1) dated 08.05.2024. ii) Railway Board's Letter no.2017/Trans/01/Policy dated 18.10.2017. iii) Model SOP, 2018. In partial modification to the letters under reference, Board has decided to enhance the powers of PCMEs and DRMs/CWMs for sanction of itemized works under PH-41 (M&P) as under: Extent of powers for sanction of i Description of Plan Head itemized works under lumpsum PCMEs Upto Rs.2.0 Crores (under lump sum) DRMs/CWMs| Upto Rs.50 lakhs in each case subject to the annual ceiling limit granted for the division (under Lump sum). Machinery & Plant 2. The exercise of the powers delegated shall be subject to existing Codal Provisions, Rules and Regulations issued from time to time by Railway Board on the subject.
