Sub: Allotment of Railway Zones to Indian Railway Management Service (Traffic)-
2022 exam batch Probationers.
Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) has decided to allot the Railway Zones to
the following Probationers {IRMS (Traffic) recruited through Civil Services Examination 2022} in
accordance with the Zonal Allocation Policy in vogue and instructions contained in Board’s letter
No.2017/E(GR)I/29/1 dated 11.08.2017 as shown below against their names: -

The Probationers concerned through Institute. Probationers may please note that as per
Zonal Allocation policy there is no provision for change of allotted zones or lien
Railway. However, request, if any, for transfer of zone (without lien), shall be considered
as per extant Policy and only after the Probationer has joined the working post in his/her
allotted Railway even in case of transfer on the spouse grounds. All requests for transfer
shall be routed through proper channel. Instructions contained in Board’s letter No.
2016/E(GR)I/16/2 dated 18.03.2016 may also be noted in this regard. -
