(Kind attn.: PCPOs/ Dy. CPO(G)s) Sub.: Syllabus of Professional paper for Selection to Group '8' post of Senior Public Prosecutor (Level - 8). Ref.: (i) Board's letter of even number dated 06.06.2024. (ii) Board’s letter no. E(GP)2018/2/31 dated 19.03.2019. Consequent upon decentralization of Prosecution Cadre to bring it at par with other Miscellaneous Cadres on Zonal Railways, instructions have been issued vide Board's letter under reference (i) above outlining the method for dealing with various matters relating to recruitment, promotions, transfer / postings in the Cadre. In terms of these instructions, henceforth promotions to Group 'B' posts of Senior Public Prosecutors (Level - 8) shall be done by the concerned Zonal Railways. 2. In this connection, it is advised that pattern of the written examinations held as part of Selections in Miscellaneous Cadres has been prescribed in Board's letter under reference (ii) above. 3. Further, Board has decided to prescribe a uniform syllabus for Technical / Professional paper for Selection to Group *8' post of Senior Public Prosecutor in the Prosecution Department of Indian Railways.
