Thee new Criminal laws, namely, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023; the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 end the Bharatiya Sakshaya Adhiniyam, 2029 to replace Indian Penal Code, 1860; Code of Criminal Procedure, 1979 and the Indian Evidence Act, 1872 were notified on 25th December, 2023 and will came inte effect on 01.07.2024. 4. JREPF Academy, Lucknow and Zonal Eailways are advised to utilise iGOT courses for the purpose of online training and also, to incorporate suitable module on new criminal lawa in existing courses, wherever considered necessary.
