Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Deptt. Of Personnel & Training (DoPT) is sponsoring a One Year Master’s Degree Course in “Law” under Young Leaders’ Program (YLP) Scholarship at the Kyushu University, Graduate School of Law, Japan from October 2025 to September 2026 (one year). In this connection, please find enclosed Circular of DoPT dt. 25th July, 2024. 2. The primary focus of the YLP in Law is International Economic and Business Law. The programme has been specifically designed to expose students to both theoretical and practical perspectives on a wide range of contemporary legal issues related to International Trade and Commercial Transactions. 3 The program is primarily geared towards persons who have worked in the Legal departments of the Government Ministries. 4, Eligibility Criteria: (a) The applicant should be under 40 years of age as on 01.10.2025 (i.e. born on or after 02.10.1985); Cont.... (b) Must be a college graduate and have attained a high level of academic achievement in their undergraduate study; (c) Must have at least 4 years of work experience in the legal section of government department; (d) Must be proficient in English; (6) Must be in good health; (f) Selected candidates will have to obtain a ‘Student’ visa prior to their arrival in Japan; (g) Must not be serving in military service or civilians employed by military forces. 6. The complete set of applications (in five copies - one original and four photocopies) duly approved by the GM/DG/CAO/Director etc. concerned should be sent to this office by 14th August, 2024, positively. 7.
