Delegation of powers to DG/IRITM delegated to DG/NAIR for conducting Training Courses with IITs/IIMs/NITs on
GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (RAILWAY BOARD) No.2023/F(X)II/PW/2 New Delhi, dated$.09.2024 The Director General, Indian Railway Institute of Transport Management, Lucknow. Sub: Delegation of powers to DG/IRITM. Ref: i) Board’s Letters No.2020/F(X)II/PW/1 dated.23.06.2020 & 14.12.2020. ii) Board's letter of even number dated 16.06.2023. iii) Board's letter No.2018/Trans. Cell/S&T/NAIR dated 31.10.2018. As per Board's letter dated 31.10.2018 (under reference iii above), powers were delegated to DG/NAIR for conducting Training Courses with IITs/IIMs/NITs on nomination basis/single source basis. Now, it has been decided by Board to extend the above powers to DG/IRITM for conducting Training Courses for IRMS probationers with IITs/IIMs/NITs and other Institutes of repute subject to the guidelines contained in letter dated 31.10.2018. This will be within the extent of the powers delegated vide item no. 17 of the letter dated 23.06.2020 (under reference i above).
