Sub: “e-Inspection” Application for Indian Railways
A pan-[ndia Application (Portal & App) for issuing Inspection Notes &
reporting their compliance named “e-Inspection” has been developed by
CRIS, which inter alia comprises following modules:
{a) Inspection Notes Module:
(i} e¢-Inspection Notes of CRB/Board Members/GM/DRM & e-
compliance (para-wise}
(ii) e-D.O. Letter & e-compliance
(iii) Minutes of Board Meetings & Weekly meetings of GM/DRM
(iv) Analytics & Management Reports
(v} Implementation of Budget Pronouncements
(b) Field Inspection Module:
(i} Footplate e-Inspection
(ii) Station e-Inspection
(iii) ‘Train e-Inspection
(iv) Running Room e-Inspection
3. A prototype for above modules has been hosted at
http: //deveins.indianrailways.gov.in/ for inviting user feedback. This
Application is mandated to be used by all the officers in future, One nodal
officer from your Railway may be nominated to coordinate with CRIS (Nodal
Officer-Shri Ravi Narula, GGM-Mob 8264109100, email ID
ravikumar@écris.org.in) for giving suggestions/feedback, for authenticating
the data of your Railway already fed in above Application, for extending
assistance in creating login ID of prospective users and for testing of the
Application. The details of nominated officer may be intimated to CRIS at
above email.
