Amrit Bharat Station Scheme for Indian Railways 6.0 For identification of Stations under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme beyond the

Sub: Amrit Bharat Station Scheme for Indian Railways Ref. : Railway Board letter of even number dated 23.12.2022, 26.12.2022, 31.12.2022, 31.01.2023 The progress of station development works has been reviewed by Railway Board, and it has been decided that generally the Phase -1 of the stations identified under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme should be completed preferably by end of FY 2023-24. Important points to be considered in Phase-1 are mentioned below, which may be planned as per necessity of individual station: Improvement to Traffic circulation and beautification of circulating area Entrance porches ( work done at Khurda Road station may be referred) High Level Platforms, Cover over Platforms Improvement to facade & elevation Improvement to interiors, waiting halls etc Improvement to toilets( work done at Bhubaneshwar station may be referred) Good quality durable Furniture 12 m wide central Foot Over Bridge along with ramps ( as per RDSO drawings) 2.0 Improvement to second entry including station buildings (wherever such buildings are feasible and do not exist presently), may be planned with a reasonable time frame, keeping in view station specific requirements. 3.0 In order to ensure high level of due diligence, DRMs should visit the nominated stations along with concerned officers and finalise the scope of work, the estimates may be prepared accordingly and tenders invited. DRMs may like to include other items as per the extant policy already circulated. 4.0 The Phase-1 works shall be sanctioned under respective umbrella for the identified items. Works for which provisions are not otherwise available in existing Umbrella, may be planned under the Umbrella for Soft Upgrades at the stations. 5.0 The preparation of Master Plans and detailed drawings by consultants may continue as a parallel exercise duly taking into account the tenders already invited, if any. Photographs of the existing condition of stations and works in progress may be maintained meticulously in a chronological order.. 6.0 For identification of Stations under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme beyond the stations mentioned in letter under reference dated 31.01.2023, General Managers may send proposals to Railway Board. 7.0 Zonal Railways may also plan centralized fabrication of FOB and ramp elements in order to ensure quality and completion of the project in time. & [कि 2} (met? 8.0 Uniform signage are to be provided at all the stations covered under Amrit Bharat scheme on the pattern of signage at CSMT station.
