(iii) Availability/working status of various Passenger Information system like CGS, TIB, IPIS
No. 2020/Tele/TCM/1(3321710) New Delhi, Dated 11.12.2024 General Manager All Zonal Railways Sub.: Development of Application for monitoring of passenger information Ref.: Board’s letters dated 27.09.2024, 10.10.2024, 18.10.2024 and 21.10.2024 Please refer to above letters from Board vide which Railways were advised to integrate various Passenger Information System with NTES. In this respect, CRIS was advised to develop an application for monitoring of Passenger Information System with following facilities: (i) Details of CGS, TIB system and other Passenger information systems installed at stations like Date of installation, IPIS RDSO version, make, site at which installed like Platform no., Foot over bridge concurrence etc. single line/2line etc. true colour/monochrome, Nos of TIBs, contractor name etc. (ii) Integration status of above with NTES. (iii) Availability/working status of various Passenger Information system like CGS, TIB, IPIS integrated with NTES. (iv) Facility to provide feedback by the Railways based on the correctness of the data fed in NTES after physical verification at station. (v) A dashboard for above at Divisional/Zonal & Indian Railway level. 2. Now CRIS, vide email dated 11.12.2024 has intimated that the App has been developed for use by Railways and is live at https://pis.indianrailways.gov.in. In this respect a DEMO of App will be conducted by CRIS on 12.12.2024 at 15.00 hrs. 3.
