With a view to facilitate rapid development of a network of freight terminals with private investment and to provide efficient and cost-effective logistics services to users, emphasis is being laid during the last few years on development of Private Freight Terminals (PFTs) and Private Sidings.

Based on the information furnished by the Zonal Railways, target for commissioning of Private Sidings and Private Freight Terminals (PFTs) for the year 2020-21 has been finalized. A copy of the same is enclosed herewith.

Zonal Railways may, accordingly, chalk out the roadmap for completion of these projects within the target time. A monthly status report on the progress of these projects is required to be furnished to Board’s office by 10 of the following
