1.0 Provision of Bed Roll items to passengers on Indian Railways was stopped due to COVID-19 pandemic.

The situation has been reviewed again at the Railway Board. It has been decided not to provide anyy bed roll bed linen items to passengers til further advice on the matter by Railway Board.

3.0 Railways are advised to drop all demands/ tenders for procurement of bed roll/ bed linen items for passengers. Option clause to reduce quantity on existing contracts should be operated. Attempt be made to cancel all contracts for these items, where ever possible and tenable.

This is issued with the approval of competent authority.
