GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS RAILWAY BOARD

No. 2020/Catering/600/01/Pt.3 New Delhi, dated: 22 /05/2020

General Managers, All Indian Railways.

Sub:- Expenditure on provision of meals to passengers of Shramik Special trains.

It has been decided by Railway Board to authorise: Zonal Railways to incur’ expenditure upto a limit of Rs.1 lakh (Rupees One Lakh only) in each case for making provision of meals and water in Shramik Special Trains during COVID lockdown only.

These powers will be exercised by DRMs in consultation with their Associate Finance. ं

This issues with concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways
