Sub:- Payment of commission charges by the State Governments and Ministries of the Government of India for the continuance of the Railway Warrants and Credit Note facilities. Sir, I am directed to invite a reference to this Ministry’s endorsement No.2019/F(C)/22/1 dated 31/01/2023 wherein the rates of commission charges for Railway Warrants and Credit Note facilities, etc. were last revised. In view of steep hike in the staff cost in collection of these charges, the Ministry of Railways have decided to effect an increase in the existing rates of commission charges on Railway Warrants and Credit Note facilities, etc. as under:- : | Current Rates Revised Rates effective effective from from 01/01/2024 01/01/2023 (in Rs.) (in Rs.) 1 Charges for Railway | है 33,973/- रे 36.912 /- (2% Thirty Six Warrants and Credit Thousand Nine Hundred Note facilities (for 100 Twelve only) vouchers) Zonal Railways are being advised to raise debits against the State Government/ Ministries etc. on the revised rates from 01/01/2024. Suitable instructions on the subject may please be issued to your Accounts Office to admit debits at the revised rates. A copy of the instruction issued in this regard by your Government may also be endorsed to this Ministry. These rates will remain in force for a period of one year or till the revised rates are communicated. Receipt of this communication may kindly be acknowledged.
