With reference to the above, the Competent Authority has approved for running of
UP passenger train can follow an UP Goods train with separation of two block
sections in Kulem- Castle Rock section, as a temporary measure on trial basis for a period
upto 31.03.2025.

Division should ensure that the functionality of Slip sidings and Dead ends in Ghat
section is jointly certified by Sr.DEN and Sr.DSO to be in sound condition to safeguard
safety of train in eventuality of rolling down within this trial period. Conformation on the
same may be obtained from DRM. Division may implement the modified working as
sanctioned by Railway Board, duly following the conditions mentioned in the Railway
Board letter cited under ref-2, and it is also requested to work out additional paths, that can
be generated with this relaxation and advise this office.

This issues with approval of PCOM.
