The matter has been examined in detail in Board's offrce and it has been decided that
"the instructions issued videRailway Board's letter dated 28.03.2018,for conducting e-
Reverse Auction are optional only (not mandatory), for works tenderc. If local conditions
allow, Railways may decide to adopt e-RA on case to case basis, with no further negotiation
with LI if Ll is selected through e-RA process."

This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate and approval of Board
(MI, MF, CRB & CEO).
