Ne. 28 /201\) Sub:- Catering services in Rajdhani/Duronto/Shatabdi Express trains running beyond schedule/Late running due to various reasons. Ref:- 1. Board’s letter No. 95/TG.II/63 1/5 dated 27.05.1999. 2, Board's letter No. 98/TG.1/631/14 dated 20.09.1999. The proposal to provide extra meals/breakfast to the passengers traveling by Rajdhani/Duronto/Shatabdi Express trains running beyond schedule/Late running due to various reasons has been reviewed by Board in consultation with Railway Board Finanee. It has been decided that catering services to the passengers on board of Rajdhani/Duronto/Shatabdi Express train may be provided full menu including packaged drinking water, as per the service timings irrespective of sector-wise services and apportionment made for its normal run . The full menu as prescribed for these services vide Board’s letter No. 95/TG. 1/63 1/5 dated 27.05.1999 has to be followed as per the service timings. . The excess or actual cost incurred during such services, duly certified by Train Superintendent may be reimbursed from the 7% cushion money as defined in para 3 of Board’s letter No. 95/TG.H1/63 1/5 dated 27.05.1999.
