Sub; Collection of penalty from persons found loitering ः in Platform without Platform ticket/travel authority, -
A Consumer Case was filed in the District Consumer Forum at Mysore regarding collection of penalty from a person not having platform ticket and the Forum in its decision had decreed that anybody found on the railway platform without any authority is @ trespasser and offence committed by him attracts
2. In the light of the above. the matter has been examined in Boards office and it has been decided that persons found on Platiorm without any ticket/travel
may be called for this Purpose. If he refuses to leave, he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend 10 six months or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with both. Such punishment shall not be fess than a fine of five hundred rupees, =
3, Please ensure compliance under intimation to this office.
